In 2005 the Morongo Basin experienced a dynamic boom and the value of homes went through the roof! It didn’t take long for Investors to catch on and it was a buying frenzy! Yes, back in 05’ it was a sellers market for sure!

Now, fast forwarding to 2007 it is a buyers market and the tables have switched. Unfortunately, there are many distressed properties up for grabs in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, and 29 Palms Ca. Those same homes, the ones that paid TOP dollar are now backwards in the value of their home and need a quick way out before they foreclose.

A home that cost 299,000 in 05’ is now worth somewhere around 220,000 in some cases. Owners are in over their heads and some of them need to get out of this situation rather quickly!

So is now a good time to invest?! I would think so.

With all the new construction such as our new Mall and the new Home Depot its bound to bring more growth and prosperity to Yucca Valley.
